This capacitor is the direct replacement for many Rheem, Ruud, and Weatherking models. This part replaces Rheem Ruud Weatherking part numbers 43-101665-29, 43-23204-29, 43-25133-33, 43-26261-29, and 43-26271-29.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON CAPACITOR FITMENT:

This is a round capacitor which measures 2-1/2" in diameter at the base. If your capacitor measures 2" in diameter at the base, this MAY NOT BE the correct capacitor for your unit.

Some Rheem, Ruud, and Weatherking units have a 2" diameter capacitor mounted with a bracket plate which has a 2-1/2" hole underneath the plate. In this case the plate is removed and the 2-1/2" capacitor will fit.

Due to changes in capacitor materials and manufacturing over the years there have been slight variations in case diameter. This is especially true if replacing an older plastic capacitor with a new metal case capacitor. If your capacitor mounts through a round hole bracket it may be necessary to enlarge the hole slightly with a file or grinder on some older units.

Got this to put in my little RV. I was looking for something small enough to not draw down
the one battery I have in the Coach. Installed under a cabinet close to the battery and
ran 10 ga wire to it. Plug in the Coach electrical cord to it and turned it on. It will
run a Radio or TV or the Microwave or the Fan in my A/C but not the A/C itself which would
take about a 3000 watt inverter which would drain my battery really fast! I watched TV and
listened to the radio for 2 days and finally ran the battery down running the A/C fan on the
second day. It's a little workhorse. Good for the price too!

The first one died within about 6 weeks. That is not a good sign... but Cobra made good and sent me a new one which has been working flawlessly for > year. I like this unit because the fan is active, not passive. So if you are using it to, say, charge a phone or run a laptop with a charged battery, (e.g. not much current draw) the fan stays off. As a noise-freak, that makes me happy. The power rating seems realistic, unlike two other units I tried. I'm quite happy with it, minus the dead original of course.

I needed to replace my old broken air vent deflector (someone stepped on it years ago) so came here to discover several options--they all looked confusingly similar so I ordered this one, plus the Deflect-o Model 50 Unbreakable Air Deflector. I couldn't tell what the difference was between the two Deflect-o models based on the information on the product pages here, other than $1.50 in price. Well, I will tell you the difference--they are basically identical except that this one is Made in China and its plastic is thinner and cheaper and it doesn't stay together nearly as well as the other one, Model 50, which is Made in the USA and of much higher quality (perhaps unsurprisingly).

I have done the research and it seems like there is no real good air deflector out on the market. I am not to sure how this product is working for other people but here is what I am working with;
* Ceiling type vent
* Air damper control
* About 12" wide

Pro's:
* Variable width from 8" to 14"
* Magnets that should hold deflector onto a metal vent

Con's:
* Cheap plastic seems easy to crack
* When adjusted width to anything past 10", it becomes very loose and falls apart. ( I needed to super glue the two pieces together once I found my correct width )
* Magnets would not hold ( I had to drill holes so that I could use the vent cover screws to hold deflector in place )

Item were so cheap in cost that I could not find a good reason to spend anymore money to ship them back to the seller. At this point I will deal with it since I already did my own modification. Hope this gives everyone a better idea what they are...

It took about a day to finish installation and technical support on the heatandcool store was very helpful and professional, they ask first if my technician was available and I handed the phone to him to ask and make sure everything was there before starting the installation. I'm extremely cold and my heating mode works great, my room is nice and comfy, while my husband is not that cold, he can be in the office with the temperature he fills comfortable with. The only disappointment was in the shipping. The last unit I ordered from Amazon came badly damaged and Amazon was not able to replace it in quick time frame. They did however have the unit shipped back at no cost to me and issued me a refund. I then ordered the unit from another vendor, Alpine Home Aire who takes extreme care in shipping. It's a shame that Amazon has no control over UPS or FedEx and the very poor concern they have for the items they ship.

Solid investment
I saw a smaller unit (the 2000) at Home Depot and was impressed on the amount of air it moved. I was looking for a solution for an outdoor patio area that faces west that can get pretty hot during the afternoon sunsets. After reading reviews I chose the 3000 model. With the super saver free shipping, I saved over $150 from the Tractor Supply that carried the unit locally.

The unit was easy to set up and is well contructed. The hose connection is somewhat cumbersome and can leak if you don't use a plumming wrench and some plummers tape to put it on. The misconception about this unit is that you don't need to have the hose on constantly or even hooked up for it to operate as it has a 16 gallon tank and can run for several hours in extreme heat without being refilled.

The unit acts as promised but expectations have to be managed in more humid climates or outside conditions. This does well for cooling straight line in front of the louvers (which tip up or down...

The actual brand of this A/C is a sunpentown model # WA1011S. Im not sure that the follow me feature works either. This feature allows the remote to do the temperature sensing instead of the sensor on the actual unit. The unit is reasonably quiet for a window A/C. Most of the noise is fan noise, can barely tell when the compressor is on. Basically it is what you would expect from an average window A/C unit.
