i just got the ac thursday after searching everywhere for a 5000 btu unit and was glad to find some on amazon. my mom has a haier and it works fine but the artic king works better and is very quiet compaired to the haier. i am also pleased with the 5 year warranty. when my moms starts to break down you can bet i'll get her an artic king.
just to let you all know i live in the attic half of it was converted to a studio and the job done was a very poor one so it is lacking insulation. but with the ac i can get the temp to about 75 when it was ranging between 90-100.
