The actual brand of this A/C is a sunpentown model # WA1011S. Im not sure that the follow me feature works either. This feature allows the remote to do the temperature sensing instead of the sensor on the actual unit. The unit is reasonably quiet for a window A/C. Most of the noise is fan noise, can barely tell when the compressor is on. Basically it is what you would expect from an average window A/C unit.

This is the best ac unit ever. Its a little louder than the lg I had but no comparison to the quality and output. You cant hear the ac kick on and off, just a continuous fan sound that you forget about.
I am a little older and like it COLD and the Arctic King lives up to its name for sure. I keep it at 74 sometimes down to 73 if its really hot over 90 outside and my place stays very cool!
And the best part is the amount I DO NOT put out $$$ in electric bills!
