Well, after doing a bunch of research and reading the reviews below and in other places, I decided to buy Friedrich YL24N35 23500 btu - 230 volt - 9.4 EER Kuhl+ series room air conditioner with reverse cycle Heat Pump. Though I 'd have preferred a better guarantee, I decided the attributes were appealing enough to attempt it. It is a bunch of cash to toss away if it fails simply after the warranty. I am absolutely in love with this product. It is high quality product, wise features. I simply got it today, and I will upgrade my review later if needed.

This unit did the trick for us! Very efficient model; heating capability is great for the winter months too! Has drastically reduced the gas bill, more efficient than our old 110 volt model.
