Good A/C for a great price.
I'm a resident of Washington State. We're notorious for two things: it rains a lot and people live in denial that it ever gets hot here. The multi-speed fan features three different fan speeds for more cooling flexibility and the multi-directional comfort control design allows you to easily control the direction of the cool air, wherever the unit is mounted. Plus, the clean air ionizer removes pollen and impurities from the air providing relief for allergy sufferers. This unit requires a special 230V electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household electrical outlet.

ENERGY EFFICIENT

This Energy Star unit has an Energy Efficiency Ratio of 9.4 and is sure to provide you with savings, along with convenient, cool comfort. I originally rated this product negatively because the box it came in was horribly damaged and the product didn't seem to work when I first turned it on. Suffice it to say after it lit up but didn't start cooling I was worried, until I was standing next to it when I was running a test and noticed the fan came on but very slow and just when it seemed like it was going to turn on the cooling - it shut off. Then I started to wonder if something was wrong with the power going to the unit. Found out that somehow the power was wired (not by me :) incorrectly so that only 110V's was getting to the unit. Funny enough it would light up - but no error...... Fixed that and cranked the unit on and there comes cold air. It works as expected now.

The face/front panel was damaged in shipping and I'll see about getting it replaced but the unit performs as it should now. Frigidaire really need to work on it's mounting kits they put in their AC units. This one is not really that...
