I received this item about 5 days back and am really pleased with the item. So far, So Good!
This AC is awesome. Our last one was so loud it would keep me awake at night and get me so worked up over how noisy it was. This one is really good in that sense. Any AC is going to make "noise." But there is only a certain kind that you can only take for so long! This one, is fantastic!! It cools very nicely in my bedroom. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the beep sound level? That's honestly the LEAST of my concerns. My only concerns are really the functionality/noise level of the AC itself. I absolutely recommend this AC for anyone who is unsure, and looking for a quieter "normal sounding" AC. It sorta reminds me of a hotel AC? If that makes any sense. Best of luck :)

ENERGY EFFICIENT

This Energy Star unit has an Energy Efficiency Ratio of 10.8 and is sure to provide you with savings, along with convenient, cool comfort. The unit is very reliable during the hot summer nights particularly in Illinois which we just had a heat wave last week and more to come. Installed the unit and surprisingly after 15 to 20 mins. of runtime in the area where I installed the same , the temperature dropped by 3 degrees. The area is 500 sq. ft which comprises the receiving room and kitchen.One thing i like about the unit is, it also has an energy saver mode which runs as a central A/C. it automatically turns itself off ( the whole unit)and on according to your desired temperature using the remote sensing control. The unit could be also programmed in a sleep mode for 24 hour. It's just like having a central A/C but in a smaller package.With this unit you could save more and rely on.
