Great, very cool, easy install.
I don't know why anyone with a regular up-down sash window would get one of these. A window unit will cool better and is easier to install. I put this in a house with crank windows only so I have no choice. I used a hole saw to cut a 5" hole through the wall, installed a dryer vent kit and hooked the output tube of this unit to it. Works great. It easily cools the entire downstairs on my house, about 1500 sq ft, even on 90+ days. The output tube flow a great deal of air, far, far more than a dryer does. It easily handles the condensate that is placed into the air flow. No leaks or accumulation anywhere. Quieter than I thought, it hums away in the corner and I can talk over it. Quieter than any window unit I have ever owned. Remote is a bit awkward. You have to hit a button a couple times to get it to recognize the remote each time, but it works. Overall very good, would buy another.

This Honeywell Portable Air conditioner had exceeded my expectations. When I was looking to buy a new portable air conditioner I did a lot of research to find a good one. I decided to go for this Honeywell portable air conditioner and I am so glad that I did! It worked really well throughout the entire summer. We had some really hot days and this air conditioner always provided releif and the portability is really convenient. The other nice feature is that when the unit is not being used you can take the exhaust pipe out of the window for when its cold out, or for security so that you can lock your window.
